How it works
- Shopping: start a trip, then Add flight. Type the flight number and date and Look up. Not-booked flights show
NOT BOOKED: in the calendar text.
- Comparing: give each itinerary an Option name (“A: Qantas via LAX”). Two or more options on a trip bring up Compare options.
- Booking: Book this option marks its flights booked and folds the others away.
- After you fly: booked flights become Taken once they've landed. For a flight that didn't happen, choose Canceled by airline or We canceled rather than deleting it.
- Maps: the Map tab shows everything you've flown; Map on a trip or a flight shows just that. Change the background with the picker in the map's top-right corner.
- Lookup times for flights more than about two months away are shown in amber: check them against the airline's site.
